Uh oh...

...slacking on a blog again. I really need to set a deadline or something, or maybe just something to write about. Anyway, I guess I'll just do something basic, a few random updates:

Shoryuken Pack for Street Fighter IV Costumes released last Tuesday on March 3rd. If going based upon the pattern of the Japanese release pattern Shadowloo Pack will be next, featuring the Four Shadowloo Devas (M.Bison, Vega, Balrog, and Sagat) and Seth tomorrow on March 10th, followed by the Classic Pack on the 17th of March. Furthermore, again if following the Japanese pattern, there will be a All In One Pack at the discounted price of 1,000 MS Points or roughly $12.50 on the PSN on the 24th of March, whereas if you purchased the packs separately you are looking at spending about 1600 MS points or roughly $19.95 on the PSN. Personally I'll just wait for that one, but you know if you really really must have them then and there, be my guest.

SomethingInTheSea.com, the teaser site for BioShock 2: Sea Of Dreams, umm not really that much of an update. It in itself hasn't been updated very much, but that's ok seeing as the game loooks to be a fall release to follow the tradition of it's predecessor. Though there are very little updates, I have kind of pieced together what I had been saying since I saw the first teaser trailer a long while back. Ready for it? Ok here goes, so the sequel is set during around the possibly April 1967, which is at the very latest, based upon the fact that there was a Happy New Year 1959 neon sign in BioShock, 7 years after the whole ordeal that freed the little sisters. This right here rules out prequel, by the way, seeing as it is years after the first game.

Anyway, back to what I was saying, the Little Sisters (umm, possibly a plot hole) grow up under the watch of Jack, and eventually start families of there own after Jack dies. Well, it would only make sense that since they had similar traits for experimental reasons, there children would look similar. Based upon that simple fact, and the clippings on the website about how the girls being abducted look very similar, I am speculating, as I had been, the children are the daughters of the original Little Sisters. Apparently they are being taken by much faster and more cunning creatures than the Big Daddy's, with the same red eyes as the Big Daddies when you got them angry by attacking the Little Sister. Perhaps this means they are seeking the children on instinct. Glowing in the sea can be explained possibly by someone, or something, reawakening the remains of Rapture, since it wasn't destroyed and much of it was intact (if the good ending was canon).

Perhaps Atlas did not indeed die, but rather became a ADAM dependent monster. Perhaps he had been researching a way to create these "Big Mamas" (or Big Sisters) to seek out the children of the Little Sisters, since they are the closest genetic match to the originals. These Big Mamas (I really think they will be called Big Mamas, as they would continue the theme of Big Daddy, and Take Two games is known for continuing themes) would, as figuring from the research, would wear similar gear, however because of the way they had mutated a long nailed toe would jut out of the boots, and wear bows in their hair. Their will probably be a new protagonist that is either Interpol, or simply researching this occurrences and finally decides to dive at the place where the glowing occurs, finding a reborn Rapture. Perhaps, seeing as the glowing is described as moving, it is being rebuilt to be a battle ship of sorts, thus this new Rapture is looking to take revenge on those of the land.

Perhaps this will be an interesting new concept and will create game play on land as well as under the sea.

Any who, that is all my guessing. But if my initial pondering was right when I pondered it a long while back, perhaps this should be taken than more than just a grain of salt. Maybe a handful, heh.

Also to update, I browsed through the PS3 ESRB ratings. Found two description for unreleased games, one being CellFactor by UbiSoft, and of course the talked about "super secret project", Flock!, by Capcom:

CellFactor: Psychokinetic Wars is a first-person shooter in which players control artificially enhanced humans that battle with other robot-like characters. Players engage in frequent combat using a variety of weapons (machine guns, sniper rifles, grenades, etc.) and special telekinetic powers (e.g., teleporting and 'hyperjumping') to prevail in such game modes as "Capture the Flag" and "Assault." Players must kill each other to win and are rewarded with extra points for completing certain types of kills (e.g., "Multi-Kill," and "First Blood"). One female character wears armor with exaggerated proportions and what could be construed as nipples.

Wow, ESRB, you sure do know how to describe a FPS. Armor that has features that can be construed as nipples. Is that all you care about, boobs? Anyway, it looks like it could shape up to be a good game if they base it off their Ton Clancy stuff, it would be like a Tom Clancy game with psychic abilities.

Flock! is a whimsical puzzle game in which players control a UFO that abducts animals (pigs, cows, chickens, sheep, etc.) and herds them into a mother ship. Players are rewarded for herding as many animals as they can within a time limit. Players have the ability to steer animals off cliffs, launch them into the air, or even flatten them with a depressor beam, however, this activity is discouraged since losing too many animals causes the level to restart. Some level/stage names contain references to bodily humor (e.g., "Poo Pits of Peril") as well as depictions of animal flatulence, which is accompanied by a brown gas cloud.

Again with those awesome descriptors. Brown gas cloud as a depiction of animal flatulence. Any who, it definitely explores the idea of UFO abduction. And I don't know about you, but that was my favorite part in Destroy All Humans!, the fact you could pick up anything in that game. Favorite part in Universe at War too, you can abduct cows for energy.

Those are all the updates for now, perhaps a review soon, but I will make an attempt to not wait a week for the next posting. Until then, keep playing? I really need to think of a closing line.
